American Truck Simulator Receives Update 1.60
SCS Software has released update 1.60 for American Truck Simulator. While there’s no major new content, the patch introduces several welcome improvements.
The biggest change is an updated materials and lighting system. It primarily enhances truck interiors, making leather, fabric, plastic, and metal surfaces look more natural and realistic. For now, the technology is available on the Mack Anthem and Western Star 49X, with support for additional trucks planned in future updates.
The job details widget has also been redesigned, and a new Hours of Service system has been added. Drivers are now required to take a 10-hour rest break after 14 hours on duty.
In addition, the update introduces Game Radio with five stations and includes free Kenworth TourAmerica paint schemes inspired by classic 1990s designs.
