Wreckreation 2 has been announced by When Tides Turn — the studio founded by Criterion Games co-founder Fiona Sperry (Burnout, Need for Speed Unbound). It is a sequel to last year’s Wreckreation. 

The developers have released the debut trailer. The game is coming to PC (Steam), with PS5 and Xbox Series also expected.

Wreckreation 2 is an open-world arcade racer where every collision, shortcut, and takedown can change the race. The focus is on immersion on the road: reading traffic, reacting to rivals, taking risks, and making split-second decisions.

Players will race across Heartbreak City and its varied districts. The game pushes exploration and using every opening to win — through races, chases, challenges, and survival mode.

No new cars or tracks — the update focuses on fixes and stability.

The third Festival Playlist for Forza Horizon 6 is almost here, introducing eleven additional vehicles, fresh seasonal events, and a celebration of Italy’s most iconic performance brands. While most of the additions return from previous Horizon titles, three cars make their debut in the franchise, headlined by Lamborghini’s latest hybrid supercar. 

Series 3, titled Italian Exotics, launches on July 16 and runs until August 13, offering players a new set of Festival Playlist rewards to unlock simply by completing seasonal activities. 

Lamborghini Temerario leads the newcomers

The biggest attraction of the update is undoubtedly the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario. As the successor to the Huracán, Lamborghini’s newest hybrid supercar arrives in Forza Horizon for the first time and serves as the headline reward of the new season.

Joining it are two additional franchise debuts:

• 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB
• 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5

Alongside these are eight returning favorites from previous Horizon games, giving collectors plenty of reasons to complete every week’s Playlist. 

All reward cars in Series 3

Players will be able to unlock the following vehicles throughout the four-week Festival Playlist:

• 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5
• Eight returning cars from previous Forza Horizon titles

Each week introduces a different selection of rewards, encouraging players to complete seasonal championships, PR Stunts, Horizon Arcade events, and other Playlist challenges. 

More than just new cars

Series 3 also includes several gameplay improvements alongside the vehicle additions.

Playground Games has continued refining AI driver behavior, making opponents less aggressive when braking into corners. The update also introduces separate volume controls for GPS navigation and voice audio, while EventLab once again supports the rewind feature during free roam creation.

Several exploits affecting progression and in-game economy have also been addressed. Because of these fixes, the Rivals leaderboards have been reset to ensure a fair competitive environment, although previously earned Rivals rewards remain available to players. 

Italian Car Passion Pack released alongside the update

Coinciding with Series 3 is the launch of the Italian Car Passion Pack DLC, which adds four more Italian performance machines for players who own the expansion or purchase it separately. The pack includes the highly anticipated Ferrari F80 and expands the game’s already impressive Italian lineup. 

A strong update for car enthusiasts

Although the majority of Series 3’s reward cars are returning favorites, the arrival of the Lamborghini Temerario, Ferrari 296 GTB and De Tomaso Pantera GT5 gives collectors three compelling new additions. Combined with quality-of-life improvements and ongoing gameplay refinements, the Italian Exotics update continues Playground Games’ steady post-launch support for Forza Horizon 6.

Playground Games has temporarily disabled Eliminator in Forza Horizon 6 after players discovered a major credit exploit.

The bug allowed players to earn up to 999,999,999 credits in a very short amount of time. The developers have confirmed that any illegitimate credits will be removed, with affected accounts rolled back to a maximum balance of 10 million credits.

Some players even tried to “launder” their credits through the Auction House, buying and reselling cars in an attempt to keep at least part of their profits before the exploit was patched.

As compensation for the downtime, all players will receive a free 2021 McLaren Sabre. The car can be claimed through the in-game Message Center under the Gifts tab once Eliminator returns.

Series 2 has also gone live, bringing various bug fixes, faster Horizon Play progression, and a nerf to drag tires, which had been performing a little too well outside of drag racing events.

Update 0.5 for Assetto Corsa Rally is scheduled to arrive in July, and its biggest addition will be a brand-new gravel location.

Since entering Early Access, AC Rally has featured only one full gravel stage, Rally Wales. Later updates introduced Monte Carlo and the icy roads of Livigno, but the game has still been missing a traditional loose-surface rally environment.

The developers have released a short teaser showing trees, elevation changes, narrow winding roads, and plenty of gravel. The exact location has not yet been revealed.

Fans are already speculating about where the new stage could be. Greece and Finland are among the leading theories, with Greece seeming especially plausible. The real-world Acropolis Rally takes place during the summer, and the Monte Carlo location was added to the game shortly after the corresponding WRC event.

SCS Software has released update 1.60 for American Truck Simulator. While there’s no major new content, the patch introduces several welcome improvements.

The biggest change is an updated materials and lighting system. It primarily enhances truck interiors, making leather, fabric, plastic, and metal surfaces look more natural and realistic. For now, the technology is available on the Mack Anthem and Western Star 49X, with support for additional trucks planned in future updates.

The job details widget has also been redesigned, and a new Hours of Service system has been added. Drivers are now required to take a 10-hour rest break after 14 hours on duty.

In addition, the update introduces Game Radio with five stations and includes free Kenworth TourAmerica paint schemes inspired by classic 1990s designs.

The second Festival Playlist series for Forza Horizon 6 launches on June 18 under the theme Horizon Decades. The headline reward is the rare 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau.

Players who earn 120 Playlist points will unlock the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 — a lightweight 430-hp sports car that previously appeared in Forza Horizon 5.

Seasonal rewards will also include several notable additions: the Volkswagen Rallye Golf, Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, Schuppan 962CR, Dodge Ram SRT-10, Ford F-150 SVT Lightning, Mercedes-AMG GT R, and Saleen S7 LM.

Car Pass owners will receive four more vehicles: the Audi R8 V10 GT RWD, Mazda Mad Mike 808 Wagon, Nissan Skyline GT-R 40th Anniversary, and Toyota GR Corolla.

The update also marks the return of The Trial and introduces a new Car Meet location at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit.

Following the real-world 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans Ultimate has another strong talking point. The free 2026 season liveries update appears to have been a success, with the game’s online player count nearly matching its all-time peak — 8,335 players compared to the record of 8,565.

Attention is now turning to July 4, when Studio 397 and Motorsport Games are expected to reveal the new Season Pass and update v1.4.

The leading theory is IMSA, and it makes a lot of sense. The announcement date coincides with U.S. Independence Day, and the developers have previously hinted at adding non-European circuits. On top of that, the LMU special events calendar includes several mysterious TBA rounds, including a 10-hour endurance race. Many fans see this as a strong hint toward Road Atlanta and Petit Le Mans.

Another possibility is the addition of the Asian Le Mans Series, which would be a logical next step following the inclusion of ELMS content.

There’s also growing speculation about the return of the Le Mans Virtual Series. A 24-hour Le Mans event is already scheduled in LMU for October, which could serve as a test run ahead of a larger virtual championship.

iRacing has revealed new details about NASCAR 26. The game is scheduled to launch in September 2026, roughly a month earlier than last year’s NASCAR 25.

The cover star for this year’s edition will be Kyle Larson, the Hendrick Motorsports driver and reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion.

While an exact release date has not yet been announced, the confirmed platforms are PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

More information, including the full release date and additional game features, is expected to be revealed closer to launch.
